Early to mid-December is the best time to find rock-bottom holiday season Caribbean cruise bargains due to a large number of cruise ships sailing out of Florida at this time of year.
As promised, I wanted to share some of my findings with you for fabulous last minute cruise bargains for sailings in the next few weeks.
There are quite a few deals that should be on your radar but remember that your criteria should also include the type of cabin, itinerary, ship amenities and promotional incentives or spending credits. Do some research with a major online cruise agency, and you will find a terrific deal that matches your cruising criteria.

Holland America, Princess and Norwegian Cruise lines have some very tempting 6-7 day cruise bargains in the $250-$400 price range but don’t wait too long as prices can change quickly.
A wallet-friendly bonus is that air travel prices to major Florida departure ports such as Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Port Canaveral and Tampa are very affordable at the moment.
As mentioned in a previous deal alert – I’ll be on a bargain cruise adventure in mid-December! Here’s a budget breakdown for each person of our last minute cruise deal that we just booked. Our Princess 6-day Western Caribbean cruise was US$400, and air from BUF to FLL was US$140 for a total of US$540 (including all taxes/fees). We also have plans to spend a few extra days, in eclectic Key West, Florida, after the cruise and found very reasonable prices for car rental and accommodations too.
