Every year thousands of people visit the east coast of Canada to take in the beauty that is Nova Scotia. While there, they have the opportunity to visit the province’s biggest city – Halifax. Why not take a break from all that touring and enjoy some downtime at a well-appointed café near the heart of it all?

It has a considerable collection of board games (over 500) to choose from, and one of the friendly and knowledgable staff will help you get a game started. The ambience is comfortable, and well designed for some serious (or not so serious) tabletop board game action.

Awesome idea for a cafe! Closest place I have seen to this, is a Speak Easy with board games in Gastown in Vancouver, but they don’t have nearly the same selection.
Maybe you could pass on the link to the article so that they can see how successful the cafe is. They might want to consider a sideline. : )
Love the idea of board game cafes. There’s one in Edmonton (where I live) and this post just makes me want to check it out.
You should check it out Alouise! We have one in Toronto also and from what i’ve heard, the tables are always booked.
Let us know how it turns out. These places are great ideas for getting people out and socializing. Loads of fun.
